Free stock count template
Create a count sheet that matches the way your team will count: by shelf, by SKU, by location, or by barcode.
Use this page when you need a fillable worksheet before a physical inventory count, cycle count, or spot check.
What the template includes
The starter template keeps the important fields visible and avoids spreadsheet clutter. You can add or remove columns before downloading.
- SKU
- Barcode
- Product name
- Location
- Bin
- Expected quantity
- Counted quantity
- Variance
- Notes
When to use each format
Use CSV when you plan to import the list into an app. Use an Excel-compatible file when you want formulas. Use print when counters will write quantities by hand.
- CSV for barcode lists and imports
- Excel-compatible sheet for formulas and variance
- Printable sheet for manual counts
Move from typing to scanning
If your list already has barcodes, import the CSV into Mobile Inventory and scan items with a phone instead of typing counted quantities manually.
- Scan barcodes with the phone camera
- Split counting work across people
- Export counts to Excel or CSV
